here's some info for j.p. banks, sure to become an uzbekiblogger. there are three main blogging software tools i know of at the moment:

blogger is easy to use, very portable, and free if you don't mind ads in your blog. it's probably the most user friendly software for the non-techie crowd. obviously i do this bog with blogger.

radio is not free, but it has a nifty news polling feature that is well worth the $40 price tag, especially when you consider how well you can use radio to organise subscriptions to excellent content custom tailored for your own interests. radio is very well designed and easy to use.

moveable type is the one i haven't tried yet, mainly because it was not as intuitive or easy to set up as the other two. but i'll do it one of these days, because i like the looks of the pages i see which are made with moveable type.
